No matter how convincing the story — an emergency, a ticket, a business opportunity — never send money, gift cards or financial details to someone you met online. This is the number-one sign of a scam.
6. Never share codes or passwords
Nobody from Hubayo will ever ask for your login code. If someone asks for an OTP, a password or bank details, end the conversation and report them.
7. Have a video call first
A short video call before meeting is the easiest way to confirm someone is real and to see whether the chemistry is there.

8. Meet in public — and get there yourself
Choose a busy café, restaurant or event for the first few dates, and arrange your own transport so you can leave whenever you want.
